Things don't always appear as they seem.~

background :

The year is 2280, and everything is diferent from how it used to be. Technology drives everywhere. want to order a happy meal from the nearest mcdonalds? too bad, there's no longer a mcdonald's, instead, you'll simply order from your home with this button on your remote and speak into it, next thing you know, a pipe opens up from a hole in the ceiling of your living room and drops whatever you ordered onto your lap. live was good, til a couple of weeks ago. the worst that could happen to a technology driven economy and nation. A big trojan/virus hit the markets, aka. the black market and spread like wild-fire. people used it to steal money from others, since everything was now credit card or online, no longer paper money. the more hardcore hackers used it to overload the overall internet/cyber system. but somehow, instead of it shutting down...it became reality. the whole world changed, but for some reason, only about two dozen people were affected by this. they were just suddenly warped into a whole new world, it was a world that should have been a video game. but it was now their reality. the world was called, neptuna. it was that of a fantasy game, though, everything was just as realistic as real life was. the phyics, the gravity, all the same. just..there were a lot more races. aliens, nekos, andriods, and now humans lived in this world. the way of life was different too, instead of wearing normal clothes of that in the human world, everyone had some combat gear, since combat was a massive part of this game and key to survival, having to level up and fight amongst each other or team up to have a better chance of survival because those who die in this world...don't respawn in either world.

 

History : 

Ever since she was able to comprehend games and hold a controller, she has been capable of annoying many lives. Around the age of six, she was able to beat her brother in her very first game after being taught how to play just a few weeks beforehand. Since then, she was instantly hooked on video games. The only time she went outside was to go to school and out with her friends, but rarely. Since technology was so big in this time period, school wasn't even that long either, you simply went for an hour and went home, knowing everything that needed to be learnt that day in just one hour instead of the traditionally seven hours. so this led to zero being in her room more often than anything. she had cases of insomnia, which only led to paranoia, depression, and odd eating habits. but, one day, with the cyber hack..she had been playing a game for eight hours straight already that day. it was a sunny saturday, one of the few days that the sun actually shined in the city. though, that shine soon ended when she was suddenly warped into her television and was met with a super realistic new rainy world. to most gamers, this would have been a dream come true, it was to her at first, til she started to learn that she had to survive. almost dying the first day. but like always, she was quick to adapt and learn how to /play the game/, taking full advantage in her new combat suit. she might as well learn the game since she couldn't find a way out at all. after seeing another human get demolished by a giant and never respawn, she assumed death was permanant and it wasn't a ticket back to earth, either. but, giants weren't the only threat. the world consisted of other races, creatures such as giant spiders, toads, etc. and even the humans didn't trust each other. think of a sandbox mmo-fps, and it was exactly the same. coming across a friendly was very rare, but thankfully the world was huge and finding a human player was rare.

due to her being locked in her room all the time, she lacks the basic of social skills. some would call her rude while others would call her awkward. she generally always stayed quiet and avoided communicating amongst others. though, if you got to know her and eventually get her to warm up to you, she is rather caring about those she gets attached to and becomes less mean and more sociably acceptable.
